It's Dinner Time - Homemade Pizza
Fast food is pretty amazing in the sense that you wait less
than 15 minutes to get your meal and you’re out the store or threw the drive thru.
But anyone who’s ever made homemade pizza or tasted it before can definitely
agree with me that homemade pizza is definitely worth the time.
This was my first time making my own homemade pizza but I’ve
tasted a few, so I had a good idea on
how the finished product should look like smell and taste. I also had some good
oll help from YouTube videos.
Hmm hungry yet? If so follow the recipe and instructions
below trust me you will not be disappointed or still hungry after this meal.
Step One: Decide if your making your pizza from scratch or
store bought this will make a difference in your prepping stage. I made mine
from scratch minus the dough because that makes a whole day to make. Once you
have your dough you must flatten it to how thick or thin you would like your crust.
I made mine thin because it takes less
time to cook that way.
Step Two: After flattening and creating the shape of your
pizza dough ( circle or square) you make your sauce. I made my sauce
from tomatoes and a few other herbs listed in my recipe page. You can use that
or a good old pizza sauce from your local grocery store, whatever you prefer.
Step Three: Decide on your toppings and what sizes youd like
to cut them to be( I cut my toppings pretty small because I didn’t want it to
be to heavy on the dough and also for it to cook faster)
Step Four: Now that you’ve done your prepping place your
tomato sauce onto the dough (put as much sauce as like on your pizza while
using your discretion).
Step Five: I personally place my toppings on first and then
the cheese, but you can do it however you feel most comfortable. I place mine
under neath because I think it allows the toppings not to fall and I think it
looks nicer, but that’s just my preference.
Step Six: place the cheese all over the pizza until it
covers all the toppings
Step Seven: place in pre heat oven of 350 degrees and leave
it for approximately 15-20 minutes, make sure you check your oven every so
oftened though. You can also tell when the edges of your crust have turned a golden brown.
